National Judo Training Camp, New Delhi

As a part of the 50 Years Anniversary of India-Japan Relationship, with the support of Japanese Embassy & Foundation a training camp to our junior Indian team senior Judo players and coaches from Japan were brought to India to give . Japanese Team included All Japan Judo Champions, Asian Champions and also World Champions. To give more exposure, teams from Sri Lanka and Thailand also participated in the training Camp at Amritsar from 20th to 31st October 2002. (Japanese team was in India for one week to India from 24th to 31st October).

To create awareness among youngsters a Promotional-cum-Demonstration Game at Sardar Patel Vidyalaya, Lodhi Road, New Delhi was also organized on 25th October 2002 jointly by FICCI and SAI.
