TASK FORCE ON AUTO RETAIL

FICCI set up the Auto Retail Task Force in 2005 to identify & address the issues & concerns of Auto Retail and secure its recognition as an integral part of India’s Retail Sector. The ARTF as it is often referred to, has representatives from the Auto Retail & Allied Industry and Financial Sector as its members.

With the rapid expansion of Auto Retailing, there is an urgent need to streamline taxation, legislations and numerous other policy hurdles faced by the trade.

ARTF has organized Auto Retail Conference “Auto Retail: Frame Work for Growth” which was inaugurated by Hon’ble Union Minister Sri T R Baalu and various state specific auto retail issues were discussed by transport commissioners of different states during the course of the conference.
