Biotechnology Information System:

A detail web based information system would be put in place to provide information on various issues related to biotechnology sector in India.

Research Reports on Emerging Area:

Division would carry out research reports on emerging area in the biotechnology sector to provide up to date information to its members.

1. Contract Research Organization (initiated with Dr Katre, Director, Bharat Biotech Foundation)

2. Biopharmaceutical Manufacturing (at the stage of conceptualization)

Support Collaborations:

Division would give priority to its members in case an opportunity arise for international technology collaborations in the biotechnology sector. The division is facilitating following business collaboration;

1. Business collaboration between BIOVITRUM- a leading Swedish Biotechnology company with Possible Indian Partner-facilitated by FICCI and Swedish Trade Commission

National and International Programs:

The program would be designed keeping in view the requirements of members and they would be extensively consulted in the process.

Frequent in-house Meetings:

Division would organize frequent meetings of its Committee members once the Committee is finalized.

Business Delegations: As per the requirement of the Committee members, the division would facilitate business delegation.
