EDUCATION
Mr.
P. K. Tripathi, completed his Bachelor's Degree from
Allahabad University, UP and later on completed his
MBA from the University of Dayton, Dayton, Ohio, USA
in 1976. He also has Diplomas in Management Information
System and International Finance and Banking from World
Center for Training and Development, Washington D.C.,
USA in 1990-91.
PRESENT EMPLOYMENT
Presently, working with M/s.Unitech
Limited as Advisor - Corporate Affairs since January
2004. In Unitech, I am involved with the following:
1. Take up industrial issues emerging
through annual budgets of both State and Central governments.
2. Help analyse and deciding which state and country
to invest into.
3. Director on various subsidiary companies.
4. Managing Director of M/s. Gurgaon Recreation Park
Ltd., a joint venture with Haryana Governemnt.
5. Help implement ERP solution within the Company.
PAST EMPLOYMENT
Managing Director of M/s. Edutech
Informatics India Ltd. (EIIL) New Delhi (An IT Training
and Software Company, also a JV with Informatics, Singapore).
As Managing Director of EIIL, my achievement
was to increase the number of franchisee operation from
45 to 350 training centers within a period of two years.
Set up processes to monitor and control delivery of
educational products, from Singapore and from local
Universities. Successfully launched first Bio-Informatics
training product in India. Collaborated with 8 Indian
Universities for imparting various IT and management
undergraduate and Master level courses. Developed short
to medium term market oriented IT courses in Edutech
and supplied them to other neighbouring country education
institutions.
As Director of AT&T India Pvt. Ltd., concluded US$
110 millions contract with Escotel and also implemented
the GSM project as Director - Operations in record time
of 4 months.
As a Program Director, also implemented
two phases of US$ 300 millions CDMA contract of TATA
Telecom.
