Mr. Alberti is responsible for expanding the firm's opportunity fund business in products and regions throughout the world in which the firm is not currently involved. Prior to joining Colony, Mr. Alberti was a Managing Director at Morgan Stanley, seconded as head of investment banking to China International Capital Corporation in Beijing, and a senior vice president at Lehman Brothers. Mr. Alberti began his career as a real estate and corporate lawyer at Debevoise & Plimpton in New York City. Mr. Alberti is a graduate of Williams College, where he majored in Religion, and Columbia Law School.
