India and the Clean Development Mechanism: Current Scenario (as of May 2006)

The study, released at the Carbon Expo 2006 held during May 10-12, 2006 in Cologne, Germany, as part of FICCI’s effort to promote India in the global carbon market, presents a detailed picture on the current scenario of CDM in India. Compilation of presentations made at UK-India Climate Change Business Seminar (October 2004)

The seminar was jointly organized along with Climate Change Projects Office, Government of UK. This compilation of presentations deals with CDM process and opportunities with respect to the Indian industrial sector.  Further, it has information on biomass based renewable energy and prospects of renewable energy projects under CDM in India.
