The 1st ISTD-FICCI Award for Excellence in HR Practices was given by the President of India, Dr A P J Abdul Kalam on 22nd November 2004 at the Inaugural Session of the 33rd IFTDO World Conference & Exhibition at Hotel Ashoka, New Delhi.
