RIICO, CDOS and FICCI join hands for India Stonemart 2007

New Delhi, 17th October: Centre for Development of Stones (CDOS), Rajasthan State Industrial Development & Investment Corporation Ltd. (RIICO) and the Federation of Indian Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FICCI) signed the MOU for organizing 4th edition of India Stonemart- the international leading stone industry exhibition slated to be organized at Jaipur during February 1-4, 2007. Shri Kuldeep Ranka, Managing Director, RIICO; Shri Rajan Kohli, Deputy Secretary General, FICCI and Shri R.K.Gupta, CEO, CDOS signed the MOU at Jaipur in the presence of Shri N.K.Modi, Vice Chairman, CDOS and other trade members and senior officials of RIICO and CDOS.

While CDOS would be the organizer of the exhibition, FICCI would be the co-organizer and RIICO would be the Principal Sponsor. Trade and industry representatives are main supporters as well as beneficiaries of the event.

India Stonemart is one of the prestigious events in the stone sector. Successful organization of the three fairs held previously has firmly established India Stonemart on the global stone map.

India Stonemart 2005 was successfully organized by RIICO, CDOS & FICCI and drew great appreciation from all stakeholders of the dimensional stone industry. The event was attended by a large number of overseas exhibitors and buyers and resulted in total business transaction/ inquiries of over Rs. 425 crores.
