Interactive Meeting in honor of Governor Tom Vilsack, Governor of Iowa, USA and the accompanying delegation
March 13, 2006 - New Delhi

FICCI organized an Interactive Meeting with the visiting Iowa State Delegation. In the absence of Governor Vilsack, Ms Swati Dandekar, Iowa State Representative led the 24 members Iowa Delegation on March 13, 2006 in New Delhi. Mr Saroj K Poddar, President, FICCI chaired the meeting.

The objective of the meeting was to explore the possibilities of furthering Indo-US economic ties, especially with Iowa. A Memorandum of Understanding was signed between FICCI and Iowa Department of Economic Development (IDED) to promote trade and two-way investments between India and Iowa.
