Meeting with Representatives from North Carolina's Research Triangle Institute (RTI International-USA)

An interactive meeting was organised with Dr. Adam P Saffer, Executive Vice President, Strategic Planning, RTI International and Dr Satinder K Sethi, Executive Vice President, Science and Engineering Group, RTI International and Padma Bhushan Mr Swadesh Chatterjee, CEO of Swadesh Chatterjee & Associates and Co-founder of TiE North Carolina. RTI is an independent organization , which provides research and development services in health and pharmaceuticals, advanced technology, survey and statistics, education and training, economic and social development, and the environment. The objective of the meeting was to discuss possibilities of India and North Carolina working together on research projects in these sectors. The meeting was chaired by Dr Amit Mitra, Secretary General, FICCI.
