India and Syria
have always enjoyed warm and friendly
relations. The economic and commercial
relations between the two countries
got a big boost with the visit of
a high-level Syrian delegation to
India in July 2000. The delegation
was led by the Syrian Deputy Prime
Minister for Economic Affairs and
included the Ministers of Planning,
Industry, Higher Education and Science
& Technology.
