Focus products for promoting Indian exports :

IT related products and services, Automobiles and parts, Construction Materials, Foodstuffs, Textiles and Fabrics, Engineering Goods, Electronic and Electrical items, Chemicals, Pharmaceuticals including Hospital equipments.

Investments/Collaborations with India : Nil

Promotional activities planned over the next 12 months :

    1. Mission successfully organized a two-day Catalogue Exhibition of Indian products and services in Bahrain on 27-28 March 2004 which was inaugurated by Bahrain’s Minister of Commerce. Nearly 450 Indian companies had sent their product catalogues and brochures covering a broad spectrum of the Indian economy including the tourism industry.
    2. Mission will continue promoting Indian products in Bahrain.
    3. The Mission held a preliminary meeting with leading Indian businessmen in Bahrain and explored possibilities of expanding trade between India and Bahrain. Follow-up meetings are planned to discuss and execute specific proposals.
