HYDROCARBONS

The FICCI Hydrocarbons Committee comprises of Industry representatives from companies operating in the Hydrocarbon value chain: upstream, midstream and downstream.

Indian Hydrocarbon Industry is at a threshold with regulatory controls giving way to market dynamics. The Indian Oil & Gas companies are now looking outwards and looking at the world for Oil & Gas equity and as a market for its refined products and engineering expertise. The corporations from outside India are also looking at Indian Hydrocarbon Industry for opportunities, which would arise with deregulation and the growth of demand in Indian markets.

The Hydrocarbon Committee is a forum for debate and discussion on the rapidly reforming sector and the policy initiatives. Industry viewpoint and recommendations are forwarded to the Government of India for consideration and action.
