The FICCI Latin America and Caribbean (LAC) desk is focusing on strengthening economic and trade relations between India and Latin American countries. Over the years, considerable efforts have been put in by the Governments of India and various Latin American countries towards devising policies aimed at enhancing trade and investment flows.

Taking these efforts and initiatives further, FICCI LAC division endeavours to bring together businesses of India and LAC region through exchange of business delegations, meetings, trade fairs, seminars, conferences, etc. This includes organising interactions with high level delegations, decision-makers, counterpart chambers, multilateral and research organisations and other policy making bodies.

Key Objectives

• Sensitize businesses to available trade and investment opportunities between India and LAC region
• Facilitate information flow on trade and investment policies and regulations;
• Help in identifying business collaborators
• Identify major impediments in trade and investment flows between India and LAC region and suggest policy changes based on industry feedback
