FICCI Quality Forum(FQF) and British Standardization Institution (BSI) have joined hands to bring globally benchmarked Six Sigma Green Belt (Certificate) training for professionals in India as per the details below:

SSGB Course Description

 

This course is based on the rich experience of BSI in providing business solutions to organizations across the globe combined with the strength of India’s leading Industry Association, FICCI, which has been facilitating organizations in India in adopting the global best practices. The Six Sigma Green Belt course has been designed for both the manufacturing and the services sectors and would be delivered by a faculty having vast experience of training and consulting.

Training Contents: This training combines the strengths of two critical global initiatives which maximizes its impact on any organisations bottom-line:

• ‘LEAN’ which fosters focus on customer value, delivery and speed; with
• ‘Six Sigma’ which is synonymous with quality improvement and cost reduction that has direct impact on profitability.

The participants will get an exposure to the use of the DMAIC approach and the tools & techniques for problem solving and improvement projects in a manufacturing or transactional environment. These tools will be introduced by a mix of up-front teaching and group exercises to ensure learning and knowledge retention. Training material is also provided in hard copy for the participants.

Eligibility:  Six Sigma Green Belts are expected to be able to carry out process improvement activities and to participate in larger projects which are led by Black Belts. Candidates should have good communication skills, and some experience of team working to improve processes or solve problems. They should ideally have some experience of using graphical displays of data in software, such as Excel. All candidates are required to bring a laptop  to the course, equipped with Microsoft Windows 2000 or later with all service releases.

Course Fee: Rs 25,000/- + Service Tax as applicable (10.3%)

Payment can be made through Demand Draft/ Cheque in favour of FICCI Quality Forum.
