'Four Motors for Europe'.. bringing the best of European environmental expertise
The "Four Motors for Europe" are 4 major European Regions : Baden-Württemberg (Germany), Catalonia (Spain), Lombardy (Italy) and Rhône-Alpes (France), which came together in 1988 ( www.4motors.eu ). Sharing no common borders but many common interests and a desire to undertake innovative actions together, the "Four Motors for Europe" work together to develop cooperation, mainly in the areas of economy, environment, research, higher education, culture, vocational training and sports.
The Presidency of 4-Motors for 2006-07 is held by Rhone-Alpes.
The Partners organize joint economic promotion missions, both within the European Union and outside.
The "Four Motors for Europe" is bringing a joint delegation with Flanders and Wales of senior government officials, experts and environmental companies to the FICCI Environment Conclave 2007. The delegation would comprise expertise of each region in areas such as: air pollution control, wastewater and sludge treatment, waste management, acoustics and noise abatement, contaminated soil remediation, renewable energy, energy efficiency, environmental engineering and consultancy services.
FICCI would organise B2B Meetings with the members of the Four Motors Delegation.
B2B Registration fee: Rs 2000
No separate B2B charges would be levied for delegates registering for the FICCI Environment Conclave 2007
