SEMINAR
ON DIGITAL ENTERTAINMENT, ANIMATION, GAMING AND VFX DURING THE INTERNATIONAL FILM
FESTIVAL OF INDIA (IFFI), GOA FICCI is organizing a day-long
conference on November 24, 2007, dedicated to Digital Entertainment, Animation,
Gaming and VFX at the Cidade de Goa. This is being held on the occasion of the
prestigious International Film Festival of India (IFFI), happening from Nov 23rd
- Dec 3rd, 2007, organized by the Directorate of Film Festivals, Ministry of Information
and Broadcasting, Government of India, along with the Government of Goa. The
purpose of the FICCI conference is to give the vibrant and pulsating Animation
and VFX sector in India further impetus and explore the emerging new media. During
the conference a FICCI-PWC report on Indian Digital Entertainment would also be
released. The aim is to expose the industry to Indian and international thought
leaders who would address the sessions.
The Minister I & B, Secretary
and other senior officials from the Government of India are expected to be present
at the Inaugural session of the conference.
