India is the host country for the 2013 Agrievolution Forum - Fourth World Summit on Agricultural Machinery. Federation of India Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FICCI) is hosting the Forum on December 05-06, 2013 in New Delhi. The Forum will bring together representatives of leading agriculture equipment manufacturer associations, top government officials including the Minister for Agriculture from several member countries, industry experts and executive leadership from agribusiness organizations around the world.
The Agrievolution Alliance was established in April, 2012 to facilitate collaboration within the agriculture equipment manufacturing industry among important agricultural regions of the world. Every 18 months, key agriculture stakeholders from around the world come together at the Agrievolution Forum.
The Forum brings together decision makers and influencers from agriculture equipment manufacturers, associations representing these manufacturers, government officials, academia and farmers. It serves as a global platform through which important world agriculture players may consistently collaborate, identify issues and share solutions.
The World Summit on Agriculture Machinery scheduled for December 5-6, 2013 in New Delhi will coincide with the third edition of Eima Agrimach India 2013, which is the second largest exhibition on farm mechanization in the world and is jointly organized with the Department of Agriculture and Cooperation, Ministry of Agriculture, Government of India, ICAR and UNACOMA, Italy. The exhibition will be organized in Pusa Campus, New Delhi during 5-7 December 2013.
