Federation of Indian Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FICCI) jointly with Department of Chemicals and Petrochemicals (C & PC), Government of India is organizing the seminar on "Potential of Petrochemical Sector in Northern India with special focus on Downstream Plastic Industry" on June 26, 2012 at "Hotel Mount View" at Chandigarh. The same will bring out the potential of the downstream polymer/plastic sector in the northern region. The opportunities in plastic industry such as plasticulture, its applications in agriculture, horticulture, water conservation by canal-lining, packaging as also the issues of sustainable growth and the concept of plastic recycling.
