BANKING AND FINANCIAL INSTITUTIONS

The Banking & Financial Institution Committee focuses on developmental aspect of Banking sector as also on the aspect of financial flows to the industry.

Several representations and memorandums are submitted to the relevant authorities apart from organising seminars and conferences on the contemporary issues. Various studies are also conducted to bring issues of concern pertaining to the sector to the forefront.

To track some of the best practices in the banking sector and lay down a roadmap for Indian Banking, FICCI organises an annual conference on Indian Banking viz. "Indian Banking : Global Benchmarks ".

FICCI has had the honour of hosting CEO from Bank for International Settlements for this conference for consecutive two years. Other international speakers for this conference have been from Citibank, Federal Reserve Board, Standard Chartered Bank, Rabobank International, Financial Services Authority, UK, SAMA.
