Mr. R.V. Kanoria, MBA (Honours) from IMD, Switzerland, and Advanced Management Programme from Wharton, USA, has over three decades of experience in the chemicals, textiles and jute industries.

He has headed several Joint Business Councils, including India-Australia, India-New Zealand, India-Netherlands and India-Taiwan. He is the Chair of the Commission on International Trade and Investment Policy of the International Chamber of Commerce, Paris. He was a part of the official Indian Government delegation for the WTO Inter Ministerial Meetings in Seattle and Hong Kong.

He is a Past President of ICC India. He is also a member of the Governing Council of the World Chlorine Council. He is past Chairman of the Indian Jute Mills' Association and the Confederation of Indian Textile Industry.

He is also on the Board of several companies and has several media articles to his credit.
